FuturesElite drawdown rules
When the loss limit rises, what it is measured against, where it stops rising and what a payout does to it, in the firm’s own words.
What makes the loss limit rise · phase 1, funded

It rises with the day's closing balance
“End of Day (EOD): the drawdown policy is based on closed profits at the end of each trading day and follows a trailing system, with the Max Loss Limit set relative to your account balance at the close. If the account has a losing day, the drawdown remains unchanged: it only increases after a profitable day. Intraday swings and open profit never move it. Once the drawdown reaches $100 above your starting balance , it will lock at that level and stop trailing .”help centre · faq.futureselite.com/en/articles/16001662-what-is-the-drawdown-type · 2026-09-11 · saved copy

It rises with the day's closing balance
“If today's close is your best close so far, the floor moves up to sit $2,000 below it
If not, the floor stays where it is
The floor never moves during the session. If you dip below it during the day but close above it, your account is safe
Once the floor reaches $0, it stops there for good”help centre · faq.futureselite.com/en/articles/15899069-live-trading-program · 2026-09-11 · saved copy

The day's closing figure
“If your account closes a day at or below the Max Loss Limit, the account is breached. A drawdown breach is final: positions are liquidated and the account cannot be recovered. To trade again you can reset the account or start a new challenge.”help centre · faq.futureselite.com/en/articles/16001662-what-is-the-drawdown-type · 2026-09-11 · saved copy

It rises with the day's closing balance
“EOD trailing. Your Max Loss Limit adjusts only after each session close, based on your end of day balance. It never moves intraday and never moves down. An intraday dip below the limit does not breach the account as long as you recover by the close; the breach check happens at end of day, and open positions count in that check”help centre · faq.futureselite.com/en/articles/16323613-what-drawdown-type-applies-during-the-evaluation-stage · 2026-09-11 · saved copy
