Redline Futures Funding drawdown rules

Quoted verbatim · last read 2026-09-12

When the loss limit rises, what it is measured against, where it stops rising and what a payout does to it, in the firm’s own words.

What makes the loss limit rise · phase 1

Our reading

It rises tick by tick, while you trade

“The floor rises in real time as an open trade moves in your favor and never falls back, so giving back an open trade's profit can reach your floor and liquidate the position before that profit is ever booked. The floor starts at your starting balance minus the drawdown, only ratchets up from there, and the breach check is live: touching the floor at any moment fails the account.”

Plans: Gas, Electric, Diesel

What makes the loss limit rise · phase 1, funded

Our reading

It rises with the day's closing balance

“Electric: End-of-day trailing maximum drawdown — the floor trails the account's highest end-of-session balance, moving up only at session close, never intraday; falling below the floor at any time fails the account.”

Plans: Electric

Our reading

“Diesel: Instant-funded — skip the evaluation and trade a funded account immediately. Diesel accounts use an intraday trailing drawdown (the same as Gas, not end-of-day) and otherwise run on the Electric funded ruleset (30% payout-consistency rule once funded and Electric funded contract limits).”
