Swiss Firmup drawdown rules

Quoted verbatim · last read 2026-09-11

When the loss limit rises, what it is measured against, where it stops rising and what a payout does to it, in the firm’s own words.

What makes the loss limit rise · phase 1, funded

Our reading

It rises with the day's closing balance

“The EOD drawdown is recalculated at the close of each trading session: It stays unchanged during the entire next session. If your balance reaches or falls below this level, your account is liquidated. When a new profit high is reached at the session close, the drawdown level is adjusted on realized profits only (unrealized profits excluded).”

Our reading

The day's closing figure

“The level is checked against the closing balance: if it is reached or crossed at the close the account is revoked, but never on an intraday dip.”

Where the limit stops rising

Our reading

At your starting balance

“The level stops rising once it reaches the account's starting balance: your risk then becomes fixed.”

What taking a payout does to the limit

Our reading

Nothing — the limit stays where it was, down to the balance the account opened with

“The level stops rising once it reaches the account's starting balance: your risk then becomes fixed. That is when the account is easiest to manage: you know your permanent floor and every payout is taken above it.”
